FIE Co. is proud to announce that in 2012, FIE Co. manufactured and shipped its first purchase order of G31 Oasis Batteries. On the international front, FIE Co. has licensed Epsilon Battery LLC of India to produce Firefly technology driven batteries for the Asian market. Also in 2012, FIE Co. began implementing Oasis Batteries into the Peoria Police Departments Nuisance Abatement Vehicle, "The Armadillo". The vehicle has been a valuable tool in Peoria's arsenal against crime in the area. The addition of FIE Co.'s battery technology into the Armadillo has increased the length of time the vehicle can operate in the field without returning to the station for recharging. Firefly International Energy Co. has begun developing a new battery design that will be adaptable across many industries ranging from Telecommunications, Renewable Energy, UPS, Electric/Hybrid Vehicles, and Grid Storage. The modular design of the battery system will make it ideal for companies that need energy storage systems that can adapt and excel as the needs for that industry change.
